BASA COVID-19 Updates

03-Aug-21 - Broomball To Return

After a few weeks break due to the recent covid19 outbreak, Broomball will return tonight with some training sessions (see the main news announcement for more details). The recent government announcements allowing sport to resume from this Thursday means we will also resume our Winter Competition from next Tuesday (10/08/21).

19-Jul-21 - Broomball Postponed due to COVID-19 Restrictions

Dear BASA community, please be advised that Broomball has been postponed for this week (20/07/2021) due to COVID-19 restrictions announced by the SA government and SA Health today restricting team sports. At this stage, we are hopeful games will return next week (27/07/2021) but will keep you updated as we receive more information from authorities and rink management. Thank you, please stay safe and follow SA Health guidelines.

14-Mar-21 - Broomball is on as normal.

Please be advised that Broomball is on as normal, following COVID rules, so please keep following the schedule on the website.

16-Nov-20 - Broomball Cancelled until further notice
The SA government has just announced that as of midnight tonight all community sport is cancelled.
This means that there will be no Broomball until further notice.
Please follow the new guidelines and keep safe.
We will keep you up to date as we find out more.
